Tesla Model Y OEM Part Number Guide

Tesla Model Y OEM left headlamp

Tesla Model Y parts can look nearly identical across production periods while carrying different OEM numbers or revision suffixes. Matching the complete identifier is one of the most important steps when buying a used original component.

What the part number tells you

Tesla OEM numbers normally identify the component family and revision. The suffix can matter, especially for electronics, lamps, harnesses, mirrors, glass, suspension parts and trim.

Where to find it

Look for printed labels, etched markings, molded numbers, module stickers or the original repair documentation. Photograph the full label whenever possible.

Do not rely only on model year

Tesla can introduce component revisions during a production year. A listing that says “Model Y” may still require a closer match by build date, side, position, connector or hardware revision.

Search by exact number

Use the full OEM number in the EV-DEPOT search or browse used Tesla Model Y parts in Canada. You can also shop body and exterior, electrical and electronics, lighting, and interior parts.

If the number is unclear, send the OEM number, VIN or a clear photo before ordering.
